The quality of each conversation depends on what the profile knows. In this step, you will complete your structured data and add sources so Bigmelo can answer from content that you have reviewed.
1. Complete the profile information
Open the profile and go to Data. You can organize information into sections such as About me, Work, Education, Projects, Skills, Achievements, and Networks.
Start with the essentials: explain who you are, what you do, and which topics the profile can help with. Then add relevant jobs, projects, studies, skills, and achievements. Specific, current facts are more useful than filling every field with generic information.
Check names, dates, roles, and links before saving. This information may be used to build answers, so it should accurately represent what you want to communicate.
2. Add an information source
In the sources section, create a new entry and give it a descriptive name, such as “2026 Portfolio,” “Frequently Asked Questions,” or “Professional Background.” The name can be up to 150 characters long.
You can upload a PDF, DOC, DOCX, TXT, or MD file, or paste up to 50,000 characters of text. Use readable documents with clear headings, and remove confidential information that should not be shared in a public conversation.
After importing a source, Bigmelo processes it to extract its content. Depending on the file, its status may show that it has been uploaded, parsed, needs review, has been approved or indexed, or needs to be corrected.
3. Review and approve the content
Human review is an important part of the process. Open the extracted text and make sure no sections are missing, the facts are correct, and the content is current. Correct anything that needs attention and approve the source when it is ready.
Only reviewed and approved information should become part of the knowledge available to conversations. If you make changes later, sync the source again so the profile uses its latest version.
Do not upload passwords, bank details, identity documents, or private information about other people. Include only content you have the right to use and that is appropriate for profile visitors.
4. Check the answers
Test the profile with questions about your experience, projects, education, and documents. Confirm that its answers reflect what you approved, and add context when you find gaps.
Artificial intelligence can misunderstand a fact or produce an incomplete answer. Keep your sources current, review the result before publishing, and structure the content so the profile can recognize when it lacks enough information instead of making something up.
