Your social channels show what you do and keep your profile connected to recent content. Bigmelo lets you add public links and, for supported networks, select posts that can provide context during conversations.
1. Choose the type of connection you need
There are two ways to add your social networks:
- Public links: show visitors where to find you and work for any network or website.
- Content integrations: connect a supported account so you can choose posts that the profile may display or use as context.
If you only want to send people to your channels, links are enough. Use an integration when you want to manage specific content from Bigmelo.
2. Add your public links
Open the profile and go to Data > Networks. Create a link, choose the appropriate network, and paste the full public URL for your profile. Save it and confirm that the link opens the correct destination.
This section lets you bring together your main channels without sharing credentials. Keep only active, relevant links so visitors are not sent to outdated destinations.
3. Connect an integration
Open Integrations inside the profile. If the section is not available yet, enable the corresponding feature from Settings first.
For Instagram and TikTok, start the connection and follow the platform’s authorization flow. Instagram must be a supported professional account —Business or Creator— to complete the integration. For YouTube, you can add your public channel URL and manage its videos.
Bigmelo should not ask you to type your social network password inside the profile. Authorization uses each platform’s official flow. Review the permissions before accepting them, and only connect accounts you own or are authorized to manage.
4. Select useful content
After syncing a network, review the available posts and choose those that best explain your work, ideas, or projects. The Starter plan lets you select up to 10 pieces of content from each connected network.
You can add a note or observation explaining what a post represents and when it is relevant. This context helps the profile avoid treating a photo or video as an isolated fact. Save the selection when you finish.
Selected content may be displayed on the profile or contribute to its conversations, depending on your active settings. Choose current pieces, review what they communicate, and update the selection as your strategy changes.
